6max is a Swingy Swingy Game [629 Hands / +$7.91]

At one point this was +36ish but a great read resulted in a horrible bad beat. It's hilarious and I am very happy I made the right read and the great call, but shrugging off the ridiculous beat. The last three sessions can really be summed up in three hands.

Hand 1 - The Good!

Very standard set mining area where I create the action by raising it first preflop. The villain is a loose overly-aggressive type that I easily exploited when he failed to read the strength of my hand. Very standard stuff.

Hand 2 - The Bad!

Villain here is 62/5/1 over 40ish hands. I took a double barrel route since he hadn't been folding to cbets, but he floated again and I am guessing he hit the T on the flop, and either way I was not winning the hand at the river.

Hand 3 - The Ugly!

I don't normally stack off preflop with JJ but I took my time with this hand and really read into my opponent's stats and history at this table. His stats were 30/30/inf with a 3bet percetange of ... 30%! Steal? 100%. So everything is ringing off the hook here that this guy is shoving VERY light here. Maybe Ax or even Kx but probably something like low suited connectors or a small pocket pair. I make the call, he shows (are you kidding me) 86s FOR THE WIN. Great read, horrible result. I was surprised at my reaction when he showed and won, I laughed. I made the right read and the right play, so what else could I have done? Nothing - that's poker and I made a +EV play.
