Heh ya that hand was one of the all timer bad beats lol.

I’m not getting QQ in pre-flop … sorry to make it sound that way. If I do, it’s against the 75/44 types with 50bb behind.

I just did a look at AA, KK, QQ = -120bb so far this month.

In terms of QQ hands in regards to your comment, I went AIPF only twice, and the biggest pot was 100bb.

Here is what has happened with QQ:
- QQ vs AA in a BvB versus a unknown full stack. -60bb
- QQ vs KK (40/30 3bet 20%) in BTN vs BB = -53bb
- QQ UTG I bet, 2 callers, T76 board, stack off against fish with A3s, he hits Ace turn = -65bb

Now, I’m not going to sit here and say I’ve been playing great. I haven’t … I’ve been playing terribad. But just wanted to clarify the QQ issue.

I’m in no place to judge your play, but just from the sound of getting QQ in as second best a lot, there’s a potential problem of thinking you’re getting coolered, but in reality you could be playing these AK/QQ type hands a little bit too fast.

I think I remember bw was backing you for your 200nl shot – send some hands his way or ask for a sweat, I’m sure he’ll help you out.

And as always, a little break always helps.

Poker blogging definitely seems to be dying. A lot of the poker bloggers I used to read have new or different hobbies now, and blog about that, or just stopped playing poker as much. What feed reader do you use? I also think twitter/fb are partially to blame, why you gotta be hating on training sites?!

The Black Card store has been opened since the 30th. It pretty well sucks AND FTP has now decided that IM and black card bonuses clear at 4 cents / point instead of the former 6.

Basically this new “rewards” system screws regs, especially FR regs. Doesn’t really matter if you get black card or not, if you play FR you will get less back from the rake you pay than you did before the update.
